Study in Canada

International student enrollment is rising in almost all universities in North America. Students wishing to study in Canada and the United States because their universities are consistently positioned among the best universities and colleges worldwide.

Canadian university enrollment of international undergraduate and graduate students is increasing for several reasons:
  • Tuition fees and living costs in Canada are among the lowest in the world
  • Off campus employment is plentiful and earns the student experience and money they could probably get anywhere else
  • Canada has large populations of people of all ethnic backgrounds so that students are never completely alone
  • Canada is very accepting of all people, providing opportunities they would find nowhere else in the world

Canada has a wide variety of universities and colleges, you can choose. For many students, tuition fees have a major influence on which school of their choice. For others, the location and climate are the primary factors. Finally, reputation and prestige are often the main criteria students use to hone their academic choices.

Canadian universities offer very similar varieties of courses and curricula. Like all universities and colleges in Canada are accredited by the committees of the same, you can be assured that there is no extreme difference in the level of training, you will receive a school over another. Some universities have more private funding than others that affect the amount and status of individual research projects through different areas of study. However, the academic side of each university receives funding comparable and therefore, the quality of education and training do not vary much throughout the universities in Canada.

Most universities offer online applications, but some require a paper application to be sent along with all the necessary documents. Make sure you submit your application and supporting documents taking account at any time your application can be taken by mail or courier service to access your school. It is often a good idea to have two or more schools just in case deadline are achieved at your school of choice. 

Once this is complete, you can begin gathering the documents listed in the following section. While acceptance is a prerequisite for the application to study in Canada, other documents may be collected and prepared in advance.
